POSITION: Hospitality Finance Operations Administrator


REPORTS TO: Controller, Hospitality



Working closely with Finance and Hospitality, the Administrator oversees the execution of vault activities related to cash processing, reconciliation, and gratuities, and provides overall finance support for the Hospitality Operations team.

A typical day includes:

Executing operating procedures to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Overseeing pre-event and post-event vault operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, auditing daily paperwork, and variance analysis
Participating in the hiring, training, scheduling, and management of vault staff and premium cash personnel
Forecasting of cash, ordering cash shipments, and leading effective cash management operations and processes, including security of cash shipments and inventory, vault counts, and cash theft audits
Overseeing cash-out process for all premium clubs, suites, and restaurants
Submitting gratuity files following payroll deadlines
Executing cash gratuity preparations and distributions for premium areas
Continuously reviewing security/verification processes in relation to cash handling
Reviewing, recommending, and implementing changes to payout processes; proactively contributing to an environment of continuous improvement
Processing of credit card payments and refunds for premium areas
Supporting on event nights/days/weekends as needed

2-3 years of cash handling or gratuity experience
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Exceptional Excel skills
Superior organizational and administrative skills with a demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to process a high volume of work accurately and efficiently
Strong time management skills with the ability to thrive and effectively execute priorities in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

Enrollment in or completion of a recognized accounting program
Familiarity with food and beverage operations
Experience with point of sale and related reporting systems
